Our Today is Forever

Plastic, a petroleum derivative - from production and distribution to pollution and consumption - set to Queen's Who Wants To Live Forever.

Plastic is a petroleum derivative, and is as bad for the marine and biological environment as oil is. Not completely inert, plastic breaks offgass and photodegrade to the molecular level. Because they are synthetic molecules, they are large and they clog the biological systems they get into.
